About Jill Myers
I always wanted to be an actress, but to quote my mum; "Don't be daft – actresses don't come from Grimsby!"
So I didn't.
I trained and worked as a Private Secretary employed in the Construction and Petrochemical Businesses in my home town Grimsby and in Aberdeen. Later I worked in the Banking Sector for NatWest in their offices in the City of London.
Despite my successful business career I always enjoyed performing and so finally, ignoring my Mums advice, I went on to train at Mountview Theatre School in London. This led to a successful theatre and TV career touring nationally and internationally and appearing on the stages of many of the UK's finest regional theatres and on various TV shows.
Over the years I have been able to combine my business and acting experience within my Voice Over work. With my own broadcast quality studio I am able to work with clients to record and edit voiceovers for radio and TV adverts, explainer videos, training videos, e-learning projects, website welcomes, audiobooks - indeed, anything you need a professional or character voice for!
